A long, long time ago…

A Lithuanian magnate Jakub Raczko Tabutowicz, a descendent of a Samogitia family, received a significant landed estate in the Bielska Forest. In 15th century he settled on the river Biała together with peasants from Lida and the settlement was referred to as Dojlidy. Over time Milord Jakub divided his property between two sons, Jundziłła and Michna. The former settled as a successor in Dojlidy while the latter built a nearby manor called Biały Stok and thus originated the history of a brewing village.
